Jennifer Vinciguerra is from North Carolina. She is happily married and has two children with an 11 year age gap. Her daughter is a wonderful big sister to her new little brother, in spite of the fact he came along much later after she decided she wasn't interested in having a sibling anymore. What to Sell at Farmers’ Market
Selling at a farmers market can be profitable, but what can you sell? Here are five categories of items that can be sold at a farmer’s market:
Fruits and vegetables. The most obvious items to sell that are always in high demand are fresh fruits and vegetables. If you have a garden, this is a great way to sell your extra fruits and vegetables.
Baked desserts Another popular item to sell at farmers markets is baked desserts. This can include items like bread, pies, cookies, and cakes.
Second, once you have established that you plan to buy frozen meat at the market, bring a cooler packed with ice or ice packs. Pro-tip: Once your meat is stowed in your cooler, try not to open the cooler back up until you are home and can safely store your frozen meat.
